Short week.My intern at SERI!
Singapore Eye Research Institute.
Released at 5pm today. hahs
Due to "Eat with Family Day" back at SGH.
GOSH
surrounded by profs and docs -_-
My first time experiencing full time lab work!
hahahaa
Been to their weekly meeting with the PI.
wow
i din fell alsleep.
but i nearly did.
sequencing
gene knock out
signalling pathway
grant budget
buying young mices...
all terms that seems soooo foreign to me
LOL
they are discussing about writing papers.
Each one of them, at least one paper to complete 0.0
Learnt ALOT.
Need to go for a Hep B jab,
as they need me to deal with hundreds of human bloods.
To extract DNA!
hahahaha
*exciting*
I mean the extracting DNA part,
not jab part -.-
I guess I still have the shadow of an office lady from estee lauder back then.
Will slowly transformed myself to a white lab coat science PRO.
heh!
quite a bit of disappointments here and there though..
no EYE CANDIES. T_T
no glamour, no fashion environment.
no HIGH PAY!

but the lab environment is really nice and friendly =D
Other than internship,
there are so many things needed to be completed this hols!
Shall list them all down to give myself some stress. =P
- My long forgotten guitar
- sensual photoshoot
- Learn Canto
- Read up science journals published by my PI (though i don think i will)
- song writing =P
- belly dance
- Old folks home volunteer
